KK MZT Skopje (Macedonian: КК МЗТ Скопје) is a basketball club based in Skopje, Republic of
Macedonia.
They currently play in the Macedonian First League and the Adriatic League from 2012. The club's
home ground is Jane Sandanski Arena.
KK MZT Skopje was formed in
1966 under the name KK Skopje by a group of enthusiasts led by the first
president of the club Mile Melovski.
In its history, MZT Skopje has won the Macedonian League Championship 7 times
(1970,1971,1972,1973,1974,1979,2012) and theMacedonian
Cup 5 times (1996, 1997, 1999, 2000 and
2012).
Their current
trainer is Ales Pipan from Slovenia.
The supporters are a huge part of the club. The supporting group is
Family Aerodrom, and they follow MZT on every game, no matter where they play.
