ON HUMAN NATURE - a critical essay

I am taking my last sip of coffee, secretly hoping that I will finally wake up and start my usual everyday activities. I don’t know whether it’s the coffee that gives me energy or it’s just the thought of drinking the coffee that lifts my spirit. Sometimes, convinced by someone else’s words, we do things we are sure will succeed, without even trying to prove that in practice. We put all our efforts in them, but in the end we realize that besides faith in our success a few more things are needed. Support from others isn’t that valuable if the idea that we are developing has a strong foundation and will provoke a lot of reactions in others.
If we constantly search for someone else to remind us to start doing something, we lose our confidence and become dependent on others and their opinions. Having lost our strong attitude, we easily fall under someone else’s influence and then we blame others for the consequences of our own actions. Seeking the blame in others we further deceive ourselves that we will avoid the enigma that is gradually surrounding us. And then unable to find the culprit, we choose indifference, which has always been present at the trial and has injected into the jury’s deliberations. The word trans is nowhere near describing the exact feelings of someone looking disinterested on everything and eagerly awaiting for the end of every single activity they are involved in without knowing whether that time is used to the maximum or that it is non-renewable.
The road we take to become the person that everyone will admire is seemingly paved and only serious fall can damage our knees. But occasionally we encounter holes and obstacles made previously by someone passing that same road and they can throw us miles back at the very start. Not ignoring the real value of everything is a reason plus for success. Success that will give us fulfillment and meaning to our life. Success that will help us live the true meaning of our lives as human beings.
